The world economy is turning around but –
I am not confident the turnaround will continue but signs are fairly good for my target market.
I am not ready to increase my burn rate to the level it was before even though we were the leader in our market.
I had to lay off some good people these past two years and do not want to face that distasteful action again very soon. Those who were reliant on business with government agencies during the recession seemed to have fared better than others but –
My company doesn’t have the expertise to get over all the hurdles that are needed to become a supplier to the government.
It takes costs to much to get into position to generate revenue from a government agency.
I can’t afford to hire the expertise needed to develop a revenue stream from government business
My company is making good progress in my home country and I think there is opportunity for international expansion but –
The government regulations in the countries I would like to target do not favor my entry into the market.
I do not have the international presence or network to expand to the country with the greatest opportunity for my products.
I am concerned about the potential loss of my intellectual property in the countries I would like to expand my business
